Many power conversion products built today use single sided circuit boards to reduce cost. ICT products all feature double-sided circuit boards to provide tight and reliable connections. Especially with heavier components such as inductors and transformers, a double-sided connection is much superior and will offer greater resistance to shock and vibration.
